Jim followed God’s prompting to start Live Your Mission in 2013.  He has been in Christian leadership for 41 years.  He served at his home church – Eastview Christian Church in Bloomington, IL, as Pastor of Outreach and World missions, as Founding Sr. Pastor of Mountainview Community Christian Church in Highlands Ranch, CO, for 21 years, and as Part-time Director of Church Planters of the Rockies for 17 years. 

 

Jim and Janice have been married for 41 years and have three daughters (Megan, Brooklyn, & Jacquelyn), three son-in-laws, and ten grandchildren.  Their marriage and family receive priority in their ministry.

 

Janice worked in the medical field for 20 years before stepping full-time into leading Women’s Ministries in 2002.  She disciples leaders, builds teams for transformational retreats, and steps into the muck and mire of slums to serve at-risk teenage girls.

 

Jim co-authored, with John Hendee, the evangelism training manual It’s All About Relationship.  One of the tools they use for life transformation. They have ignited discipleship multiplication movements in over 20 countries. Since 2014, 7,824 equipped to ignite Disciple Making Movements, over 36,000 baptized into Christ, LYM's Trainers are active in 29 nations in 19 languages  

 

Jim is a visionary leader with a track record of igniting disciple multiplication movements. Jim is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University, Lincoln, IL, and holds an MA in Church Growth Dynamics from Hope International University, Fullerton, CA.
